I suppose, but I like to think of them (most of them, anyhow) as bust-a-gut-funny actors who pop up in movies when you don't expect them.

Enh. I don't give much weight to the notion of "deserve", but I do think it would've been better if they had gotten more of a break.

Among others, Harold Ramis directed Caddyshack, National Lampoon's Vacation, Groundhog Day, Analyze This, Year One, and wrote Animal House, Meatballs, Stripes, Ghostbusters, and a bunch of the movies he directed.
