I recently had blood drawn, & for the first
time ever, I didn't even feel the stab. She
was good....really good. I praised her skill.
I get that a lot. And I'm using a bigger needle.
I always enjoy having blood drawn. It's
quite the comfortable social occasion.
It's become a different for me since I've become a phlebotomist. It's I give a secret handshake or simething.

I have some fond memories of my working years....especially, around xmas...one place I worked for 20 yrs, it was mostly a good crew...
Taxi reminded me of working days
Me too, actually, but for different reasons.

I did a few years on a night shift in which I was the only worker. You could not fall asleep. Having the TV on all night was fine, so long as you didn't sleep. Taxi came on late at night.

I hated working late alone.........I had a rule, drop any tool or combination of drops...clock out!

I hated it, too... but I needed the money.

The hours didn't generally bother me, though the solitude did. There were a few nights I remember using the exercise bike to stay awake, or dunking my face in cold water in the bathroom sinks.

Nights is where I belong. When I interviewed for this job it's where I was told I be but that was a lie.
