The Nine Gates

The Nine Gates
by Adramelek

Through the First Gate is the Infinite,
Wherein the howling chaos wails unto the ending of time.
Through the Second Gate is the master,
Who conceived the world of horrors in its terror and glory.
Through the Third Gate is the messenger,
Who giveth to thee substance of being
And the Keys to the Gates of Nine.

I Am that I Am.
Through the gates I speak and pledge anew
the bond of the daemons,
By whose will this world hath come to be.

Through the Fourth Gate is the Black Ram of the Sun
And Deathless One, thou primal Father
Whose name illuminates the Nine Gates.
Through the Fifth Gate are the hornless ones,
Who raise the temple of the shining pentagram.
Through the Sixth Gate is the sleep of the daemons,
Who shall awaken with the fury of Hell in their hearts.

The daemons are,
The daemons were,
And the daemons shall be again,
And the whole of the world will bear witness
The black night of unfathomable creations.

I Am that I Am.
Through the gates I speak and pledge anew
The bond of the daemons,
By whose will this world hath come to be.

Through the Seventh Gate is the ruin of dimensions,
And the awakening of the daemons.
Through the Eighth Gate are the masters of the realm,
Who raise the temple of the Eight Trihedrals.
Through the Ninth Gate is the Black Flame,
Which blazeth in brilliance and darkness
Unto the glory of the Eternal Will.

Cool. I've always envisioned seven Gates though... my own perspective no doubt influenced by the Descent of Ishtar. I love every version of that story.

"The Ninth Gate" was also directed by the same guy who directed "Rosemary's Baby", Roman Polanski.

Is this like the movie the Ninth Gate?

Although I do like the film "The Ninth Gate", my poem/lyrics have little to do with that film. And more with the Ceremony of the Nine Angles in the Satanic Rituals.

In my view, the Nine Angles can be seen as nine specific gateways to nine specific states of being in Black Magical, Left-Hand Path Initiation. Sort of like the Norse mythological "Nine Doors of Midgard".

Valknut - the Nine Doors of Midgard = three intersecting triangles 3+3+3= 9 angles/doorways.

And of course the symbol in my signature below, the inverse pentagram encompassed within a trapezoid. Pentagram 5 angles + trapezoid 4 angles = the 9 angles/gates.
