Being a bit Cornish, is it like being a bit pregnant?
She's also, gasp, a bit Irish but that was hidden by her bigoted parents until she happened to discover that one Irish relative had run off to the 49'er gold fields and never returned.

My wife could be a member of the DAR (daughters of the American revolution) which her mother was proud of. But when it came to "them", the Irish, her nose was pointed way up in disdain.

I should get off my lazy backside and make some. I really want to try venison pasties but venison is nearly impossible to find around here.

Quite common here but don't buy it because my vegi daughter goes ape ****
Last time i had venison was last Christmas at a friend's house.
