“If only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person.”-- Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers)

“Every small, unselfish action nudges the world into a better path. An accumulation of small acts can change the world.” - Robin Hobb-

“Dress yourself in the silks of benevolence because kindness makes you beautiful.” - Richelle E. Goodrich-

“A little bit of hatred can spoil a score of years
And blur the eyes that ought to smile with many needless tears.

A little bit of thoughtlessness and anger for a day
Can rob a home of all its joy and drive delight away..

A little bit of shouting in a sharp and vicious tone
Can leave a sting that will be felt when many years have flown.

And just one hasty moment of ill temper can offend
And leave an inner injury the years may never mend.

It takes no mental fiber to say harsh and bitter things;
It doesn't call for courage to employ a lash that stings.

And cruel words and bitter any fool can think to say,
But the hurt they leave behind them takes years to wipe away.

Just a little bit of hatred robs a home of all delight,
And leaves a winding trail of wrong that time may never right.

For only those are happy and keep their peace of mind,
Who guard themselves from hatred and words that are unkind!” - Edgar Guest-

"Love opens every gate to every depth and supreme height of life! The love that never demands, but instantly finds fulfillment in giving! God holds all universes and infinite creations with the magic of love!

In our heart is hidden that secret key of unconditional love with which we can unlock the doors of heaven! "~~Bodhi

The first to grab my attention -

Shared identity

Think of a person in your life who seems to be very different from you in every way that you can imagine. They might have different interests, different religious or political beliefs, or different life experiences. They may even be someone with whom you have had a personal conflict, or who belongs to a group that has been in conflict with a group to which you belong.

All the best!

“When we choose to operate on the frequency of compassion and kindness, we create, and reinforce our own realities, as filled with compassion and kindness.” - Raphael Zernoff-

“Let kindness reveal your humanity.” - Jeffrey A. White-

“An act of kindness is uplifting to the soul.” - Lailah G. Akita-

The closer you are to your calmer self, the sweeter and more balanced your perceptions of life in general, then your words are more soothing, yet more powerful. The days of dictating your opinion on others and imposing your authority is gone. Now this era is all about shared responsibility, servant leadership and how you say things that you want to say. How you listen more than proving how much you know. To find peace You have to be peaceful. ~~Bodhi

Set your default to kindness -

Kindness is an important and misunderstood thing. Many people think of kindness as acts, as good deeds done here and there and when inspired. Others attach a return on kindness, thinking of it as a culmination of projects that, deemed “good,” will earn one a good place in the afterlife, if they believe in such. Still others think of kindness as the display of good manners, of “please” and “thank you” and sharing, etc.

But kindness in all its grandeur and simplicity is an engagement of heart and spirit that enables the granter to give gifts of limitless value. It is a practice — a way of life.
