The joys of simplicity. Or... Why do people complicate things that should be simple.

Complexity Bias: Why We Prefer Complicated to Simple

From the complexity of academic language and terms, all the way to deciding what you want to eat for dinner.

I always dreamed of having a minimalist approach to healthy life and living, but in reality, it seems almost always ending up living in the frat house of life with things strewn about all over the place while climbing over the mountain comprised of the simple.

I know every Journey starts with a step, a simple sweep of the broom to clean up the house.

Then you look up and see all the huge giant convoluted mess........

Sigh.

I supposed to best way to overcome complexity is reaffirming that it's just a matter of simple things. It's funny how that can become a daunting endeavor.

Why do you suppose that is so?

Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's because a majority of the people in the world nowadays hunt for their food at the local supermarket instead of in the bush? Shooting another living thing is icky to me.

Maybe its wanting to up to date with the 'in' thing, but tomorrow the 'in' thing isn't 'in' anymore.
