"Woman who survived crash on SR-18: 'I definitely believe that God spared my life'"
NEAR TIGER MOUNTAIN, Wash. -- Washington State Patrol troopers now believe a part from a semi truck led to a crash on state Route 18 on Wednesday afternoon that killed one woman and sent another woman to the hospital.
"I saw a lady coming from… going east… right into my lane," Brenda Hoyt said. "I mean I had no time to react. Nothing. It just… we hit right then."
She was on her way home when a blue Ford Focus came right toward her from the opposite direction.
"And there’s no where I could go," Hoyt said. "I couldn’t stop. I tried. but I couldn’t stop."
State troopers said the woman driving the Ford Focus had just hit a driveline out in the road. It’s a part that runs from the power source of an engine to the back axle, troopers said.
It caused her car to spin out of control into the westbound lane right into Hoyt’s path.
Sadly, the woman did not survive.
Hoyt suffered a broken ankle, has a sore back, and injured her left knee.
"I think it’s just… I’m very lucky," Hoyt said. "I definitely believe that God spared my life."

Now, doesn't such belief, that god interceded on Hoyt's behalf, logically imply that god deliberately killed the other woman? And wouldn't this belief apply in all such situations, as in airplane crashes where some survive, but others don't?
