What i found interesting is how the changing composition of the universe can be observed through time.

I mean the wording by use of constant. That is why many call it a parameter these days. People treat constant as if the dictionary term

Yes, the 'Hubble constant' is simply the current value of the 'Hubble parameter'. This is a misnomer that has been around from the start.
