The High Maintenance

I don't promise people the moon.
I just eat my tiramisu.
You can eat that 3-topping pizza.
And still own the show like a Diva.

I like what I like, and try to be cautious of everyone equally.
There are no promises you'll win my affection, whether a he or a she.
I want many acquaintances, and exchange of fond words.
I'm careful to call people my friends, having 100 friends is for the birds.

I may be mistaken as hostile, I may be mistaken as weak.
Likely if you want the conventional, I am not what you seek.
I'm happy to say, I think you all are quite phenomenal.
Maybe some day, I will work on being more social.
