The Great Set!

Rainbow Mage

Lib Democrat/Agnostic/Epicurean-ish/Buddhist-ish
Hail to you Set, mighty son of Nut
Great and terrible Lord of Storms;

You flash as lightning across the skies
No one can restrain you, no boundries will cause you to cease;

You roam the earth and heavens doing as you please
Mischief maker, who is ever near the sacred flame;

My lips cannot even speak of you, terrible one
My throat constricts, my tongue burns like fire;

Surely you are mighty and terrible
Isfet trembles before you, slayer of the great serpent;

No injustice will escape unpunished
You charge the wicked with a spear of iron;
I remain in the way of Ma'at, resisting Isfet with all my might
Therefore do not strike me down, terrible one;

No one you bring down is able to stand

If it's alright with you, Phoenix, I'd like to use this prayer myself when conducting rituals or prayers at my altar of Set.

Oh dear - I just realized how terribly old this thread is.
