It is wrong because it reinforces stereotypes, stereotypes are bad because they are by nature a form of prejudice and bigotry

Then I suppose even the Care Bears are bad for having stereotypes (they're inescapable). Shame on everything that portrays a nurturing female or strong male. How dare we not be saints when we choose to escape for a while. That and wrestling has proven highly sensitive to the demands of fans, including having their first wrestlemania featuring a female main event card, toning things down when they go too far, and even making a violent entertainment less violent.

That tends to be all of entertainment. Alice Cooper puts on an awesome show that he gets paid for, but the rockstar life of touring and recording takes a toll on them that most are unaware of. Sports in general comes with physical risks to self and others. Even in comedy we find situational, irony, sarcasm, gallows, roasts, and self-depreciation where we laugh at the expense of ourself and others. Wrestling is no different (and it has even been harshly criticized by fans for its past presentation and treatment of women and minorities). We enjoy ourselves because others gave up time with their family to expose themselves, makes themselves, vulnerable, and endure hardships most of us can not imgine. And thats before you're blind folded and get a mouse trap whacked on your fingers (Whise Line is it Anyways). Or a whack to the groin.
