The Book of Mormon and Aliens
If I have argued for aliens in the Bible, shouldn’t I be able to argue for them in the Book of Mormon? Well you can look up these verses for free at scriptures.lds.org.
The Book of Mormon is a book from the dead, something that the author could know when Joseph Smith couldn’t know that we could know now, and here is additional proof.
I haven’t read through the Book of Mormon in a long time, but I will cover UFOs, aliens, allusions and nuclear weapons in the Book of Mormon now. Please do not be offended if you know of alternate explanations for these verses. The Book of Mormon must have been cohesive then and now:
UFOs:
1 Nephi 1:6 – Even if the Book of Mormon somehow came about in the 70s, we didn’t know that a rocket could land on a rock. This shocked Lehi a great amount. The pillar of fire might be not describing the actual rocket because it was too sacred.
Note that there is a similar verse in the Bible to what happens next:
Genesis 28:12 – note the ladder, as in a UFO’s staircase.
Mosiah 27:11 – A cloud is often a UFO in the Bible.
Alma 31:12 – They climbed a ladder to get to a special hidden place. This is like climbing a UFO staircase to get into a UFO, one way or another.
Helaman 5:23-24 – An apparent UFO saving people from prison.
3 Nephi :17-42, 19:13-15
Ether 2 – This chapter says the most about God’s true nature if you are ready for it.
Aliens: 1 Ne 3:28-29 – angels could be aliens. Joseph Smith said that they did not have wings,
Alma 31:12 – yet they could go through the air with technology.
Alma 5:48 – angels keep coming out of the sky.
3 Nephi :17-42, 19:13-15
Ether 2 – This chapter says the most about God’s true nature if you are ready for it.
Allusions: Leaving Jerusalem is symbolic to modern readers of leaving earth for Mars. Jerusalem after all is God’s capital of earth.
1 Nephi 6:3 – he does not want to give a full account. It would overcome the early Book of Mormon reading with things for our time.
1 Nephi 6:5 – According to Rael “Elohim” in the Bible means “Those who came from the sky.” “Those who are not of the world” could be a translation of this into Egyptian.
There are lots of allusions that you would have to know a lot about both religions to see.
Nukes:
3 Nephi 26:3
Mormon 9:2
I could also do Aliens and the Doctrine & Covenants, but this is private to Mormons.
