Found this book in a rummage sale, so it probably isn't high fiction, but it got me hooked enough to keep reading. Its setting is in an Christian-only dictatorship, and the story is about a member of a religious gestapo which persecutes adherents of other religions. I thought this book might be interesting for other forum members, too.
