Does anyone else admire their Toxicity album as much as I do?

I can play it over and over and over again and never tire of the music and messages.

    Yup.

In all honesty, System of a Down is really the only thing I listen to anymore. I just go through the CDs in the van(because I'm old school like that), flipping between the 4 I have while I'm driving.

Spookiest ever: I've got it on right now! :screamcat:
(After playing the first album, to be followed by Steal This Album!)

Me too! I just got out of the van, and the last song was playing on the first album, so yes, when I get in the van next, I will also be flipping it to Toxicity, to be followed by Steal This Album...

Really? What lost you with them?

I love them... Only have Mezmerize. One of the kids is getting Hypnotize for Christmas(and luckily, the kid that likes to roll around in the van and listen to System of a Down with Mom-mom).

    We are as one.

Their other albums are (obviously) relentlessly original and brilliant, whereas Hyp/Mez seem like there's too little too spread out over two discs. Would have made a better single album imo. And (speculating) I think more vocal duties from Daron and less from Serj was indicative of the members musically splitting (specifically Serj looking to pastures new).

I used to. I remember really liking Chop Suey and ATWA.

I’ve moved on from nu metal.

SOAD is legendary. They’re a band who said what they had to say and didn’t say anymore because it was all perfect as is. (I’m aware they made another album recently, haven’t listened to it yet)

I haven't seen much on a new album. I know they put out two new songs in the recent past, but haven't been able to dig up much more than that.
