Student Protests Against Israel Are Wonderful

We Never Know

No Slack
Good for them. Wonderful non-violent protest.
Did I mention violence? Nope.

Its sad that you think its ok to disrupt the lives of others keeping them from living their daily lives.

Take that picture... What about the people who have to get to work? Get their kids to school? The dentists? The hospital? Etc etc. Just tough luck for them huh? Their lives don't matter.

It's good. People need to know who the antisemitic crowd is.
I am an anti-semite who supports anti-semitism.
This is not the old definition of being anti-Jew.
Semitism has been re-defined by Zionists as Israel's
oppression of, theft from, & mass murder of Muslims.

How do you know these are all students, campuses such as UT Austin found many to be outside people not affiliated with the school. Interviews with some students indicate they have no clue what they are protesting about.
I don't track the background of protesters.
You remind me of Nixonesque Republicans who
who defended the Vietnam War by claiming that
protesters were tools of Marxist agents.

When someone can't argue rationally against the
protests, people always invent something to criticize
about the protesters. The old ad hominem tactic.
Lying about Israel committing genocide is grotesque.
You should stop then.

Gen Z done drank too much of the Fool-Aid at this point. If they're so upset with Biden, why are they at college campuses?

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I would say that he is evidence against it. He signed a peace agreement. He was willing to move towards a two state solution.
I agree but it never materialized. The Palestinians rejected valid and formal recognition.

That alone speaks what the real goal is.

I'm ok with protests that don't interfere or disrupt the everyday life of others. However if it does, then it becomes nothing but a nuisance.
I agree.
But such civil disobedience, illegal thought it be,
has been useful to bring about good change,
eg, ending the Vietnam War. Balancing the
good achieved against the severity of the crime
will always be controversial.
But consider....US government is behaving in
a manner if not illegal, is so evil that its laws
restricting protests become less ethical.
Such a government inspires lawlessness.

Disclaimer....
Per RF rules, I don't advocate law breaking.
I just recognize conditions that cause it.

Protests ended the Vietnam War?

Do tell more.

Edit...
Too bad those protesters didn't step up their game and end it before my dad was killed Dec 31, 1965.

They played a big role by raising general
awareness of the war's wrongfulness, &
inspiring draft evasion.
Sounds like you disagree....but can't quite
bring yourself to take a firm stance.

This post doesn't advocate breaking laws
in order to avoid committing evil acts
under government orders.

See my edit and no I don't think protesters ended the war

No, you don't. I'm commenting on sources you have cited in your own posts before. You have made threads about this subject and posted videos featuring Sam Harris and/or Douglas Murray in more than one of those. That's what I'm referring to.
My sources include Murray and Harris, but they are not limited to them. That says nothing about my own ability to assess evidence, nor does it explain why you would choose to conflate the idea with the messenger.

To defend themselves? Yes. To exact revenge? No. And what if Israel is the cause of Gaza's poverty as @Revoltingest's links indicate? Then one could almost excuse some of the actions of Hamas.

It is not as simple as you want it to be.
If revolting claimed that Israel is the cause of Gaza's poverty, he's wrong. Hamas used 10s or 100s of millions of dollars of aid money to build tunnels and buy weapons.

No i meant Israel.
I thought you said Israeli's were racist? Do you consider Muslims to be a race?
