Songs I'd sing in a mental hospital

That first one was the initial one I thought of when I read the OP.

As a teenager/young woman, I had crippling social anxiety. BUT! I had that song memorized, and could perform it as a side show(with a very dramatic act) with little difficulty. I got a lot of random requests for it.

I thought it perfect! Unfortunately didn't know it the last time I was there. The other two I sung tho

Normally I'd say, "there's always next time", but I don't feel that's appropriate in this case.

I am Henry the eighth I am
Henry the eighth I am I am
I got married to the widow next door
she's been married seven times before....

Or this one...

North side, east side
Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he's the king around town
Dancing, glancing
Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down

I generally avoid listening to Christian music when I can as it's not generally my style. However, to be perfectly honest, I find Newsboys to be a bit therapeutic for recovery.

Reverie talks to the ocean,
Gets her answers from the tide,
Says the seagulls think she's crazy,
But she takes it all in stride.

Got a labrador named Elvis,
And a cat named Nat King Cole,
Never has to walk or feed them,
Cuz they're both invisible
