Socialist AOC doesn't know what a garbage disposal is.

If winning isn't everything why do they keep score
It's possible, seems deliberate to me. Looks like a troll trap to me.
Maybe that's just a side effect that comes along with a Bronx Democrat that has a history of airhead proofs to her name.
AOC Flubs in her own words
Look at Bernie Sanders in that video when AOC is speaking and when she flubs and says something about flipping this seat red, as she endorses a Democrat candidate on camera.

In the U.S. hot and cold water are routed to the same tap, and have two separate knobs or a single knob that can be turned in two directions.
Don't we all. I have that sort on the kitchen sink and the bath but not on a hand basin. Any one can choose what they prefer. Flow rates can usually be better on single taps with larger feed pipes so are often useds on baths. Pipes can be anything between 22mm and 15mm and either gravity fed or pumped. My daughters house has the hot system pumped and circulated for instant hot flow. As do most hotels.

It's efficient compared to putting it in the trash to go to a landfill.
We compost 99% of ours, but that option isn't practical in cities.
And in Michiganistan, we've no shortage of water. Mine is free.
Plus, all water going down our drain is filtered before it returns
to the aquifer.

It is not efficient compared to being collected by the council and composted with other green waste which is done over the entire UK including cities. Land fill is an extremely expensive resource, and entirely wasteful. The target in the UK is for 100% recycling.
We are a long way off that yet but making steady progress. this is even more important for city waste than for country waste.

The waste from sewage works has always been reclaimed as compost, and never goes as land fill, but it is an expensive process.
Water discharged from a modern sewage works is totally drinkable.

We do not put domestic trash directly in land fill, we all have four coloured wheelie bins. to separate our waste for recycling. The green one is for food and garden waste.

It sounds like a decent system.
The last time I turned on our disposal was last year.
Just to verify it worked.
But if you ever need to mangle your silverware, they'll do that well.
