Snopes: 'The Claim That Trump Is Hitler Lacks Concrete Evidence But Alludes To A Deeper Truth'

Do you really believe that anybody thinks that Trump is literally Hitler?

If so, it would explain this thread.
Tom

I think we're going to have to run a fact-check on whether or not that would actually explain this thread.

"While Trump may not be factually Hitler, he is morally Hitler, so we're gonna go with 'Unproven,'" said one Snopes writer.
Yesterday I thought about Hitler and fascism (wrote about it on RF).

Last night I had a vision in which D. Trump came to me and told me a few things. Never happened before (I don't like the guy even).

I thought, waking up, what happened just now?

Now you connect Hitler and Trump.

I'm curious to see what happens next

Wait. What? They're building UFO's now. So not only are they scary on land, now we have to worry about them coming from the sky too.

Yep. You heard it here first. Better spread the news:

Remember everyone, to always take notice of the sections we're in -currently it's the games/jokes section... Wink, wink... ;)

Sometimes it's easy to miss, since I often click on links to "New Threads," which doesn't actually say which section it's in. Many times, I'll only look at what section it's in as an afterthought.

I have nothing against satire when it's done well, but articles like this fall more into the "practical joke" category more than true satire. These kinds of articles are the whoopie cushions of the internet.

...You lose 20 points for failure to pay attention to detail. :(

...You gain 10 points for saying "whoopie cushions". :)

You get a C-.

So... do you understand that the Babylon Bee is a satire site and you're just playing along, or do you not know? I can't tell.
It seems to be skirting the line between satire and libel IMO. I don't see why they'd need to use the name of a real site as a basis for their "joke" other than to deliberately trick people in the believing Snopes really published it.
