Seeing Islam as others saw it

Seeing Islam As Others Saw It: A Survey and Evaluation of Christian, Jewish and Zoroastrian Writings on Early Islam - Robert Hoyland

https://www.academia.edu/9547975/Seeing_Islam_as_Others_saw_it_by_Robert_G_Hoyland

This book is the best compilation of early primary sources that mention Islam and is considered pretty much essential for anyone interested in the history of Islam and the broader late antique Middle East.

Worth a look for anyone with even the remotest interest in these issues and is pretty readable and accessible.

The complete ebook can be downloaded for free from Academia (might have to register on the site first though). Usually it costs about $50 too.
