This thread is about proposed power outages in Michigan.
Actually, it's Fox News speculating about potential
outages related to extreme weather, & reliance
upon green energy sources.
As for france, we get them all the time but no ones creates threads griping that it's a political move
As I recall, you blamed our speculative outages
on Republicans. This seemed political to me.
BTW, our heatwaves are milder than yours.
Thousands left without electricity as storms, heatwave hit southern France

This is just one more state that can't keep up with electrical demand. This is an ongoing problem that is going to get worse thanks to misguided Democrat policies limiting fossil fuel production and use.

In the midst of this crisis these geniuses are pushing the production of EVs which will further strain our power grid.

Renewable energy dependence could lead to rolling blackouts in Michigan this summer | Fox News
It's always interesting when climate change deniers can't see the forest for the trees.

The actual report (PowerPoint presentation, actually) that Fox is using as its source is linked here (look for "MISO Readiness Report"): Possible Michigan electric grid issues pose problem for Lansing area

The people who actually know what they're talking about are projecting an increase in electrical demand due to climate change-fueled increases in cooling over the summer.

Since you don't believe in climate change, you don't think that increased demand is going to happen, do you?
