2nd of 12 The appearance of Jesus to the other women, Matthew 28:1
It was an angel of the Lord who appeared to the women and told them that Jesus was not in the tomb because he had been risen.
3rd of 12 The appearance of Jesus to two disciples (Cleophas and another) on the road to Emmaus, Mark 16:12-13, Luke 24:13-32, John 24:33-35, 1 Corinthians 15:5
Cleophas the husband of Mary and Simon the son of Cleophas, and half-brother to Jesus.
4th of 12 The news of the appearance of Jesus to Simon Peter, Luke 24:33-35, 1 Corinthians 15:5
No! it was to Simon the son of Cleophas who recognised the stranger who had walked with them to Emmaus as Jesus by the manner in which he broke the bread.
5th of 12 The appearance to the astonished disciples (Thomas absent) with a commission, Mark 16:14, Luke 24:36-43, 1 Corinthians 15:5
Cleophas returned from Emmaus and revealed to the disciples in the darkened room, which included Simon the patriot and Simon Peter, that the Lord had appeared to Simon the half-brother to Jesus, the Disciple called Thomas Didymus Jude, another half-bother of Jesus, who was called ‘The Twin’ was not present that night when Jesus appeared.
6th of 12 The appearance of Jesus to the disciples the next Sunday night, John 20:26-31
Correct, doubting Thomas was there that evening, whether he was an actual twin or simply held a striking resemblance to someone with whom he shared a common father is unknown.
7th of 12 The appearance of Jesus to seven disciples beside the Sea of Galilee, John 21:1-25
Correct, and of those seven, who had walked and talked with Jesus, not one dared to ask who that person was, but they understood that he was of the risen body of Christ.
8th of 12 Jesus appears to the eleven disciples on a mountain in Galilee, Matthew 28:16-20, Mark 16:15-18
Correct, but even some of them doubted if it was Jesus who they saw ascend as a cloud.
9th of 12 Jesus appears to about 500 hundred people on a mountain in Galilee, 1 Corinthians 15:6
Correct! Jesus did appear to 500 people, but it is not said in 1 Corinthians that it was on a mountain in Galilee.
10th of 12 Jesus appears to James his brother, 1 Corinthians 15:7, Galatians 1:9
It is probable that the Lord
Jesus appeared often to the disciples, since he was
40 days on earth after his resurrection, and the evangelists have only mentioned the more prominent instances, and enough to substantiate the fact of his resurrection. This James, the fathers
say, was James the Less, the brother of
Jesus. But apart from 1 Corinthians 15: 7; there is no other record of Jesus ever appearing to James his brother.
11th of 12 Jesus appears to the disciples with another commission, Luke 24:44-49 & Acts 1:3-8
Correct.
12th of the twelve is the same as 11th of your 12..
