Nonsense: religious vengeance is enacted by people who believe they are acting on God's behalf. The Bible is replete with instances of God using man to enact revenge, even to the extent of genocide.

I believe that is why GOD has made that claim to revenge, so people would not act on His behalf. Any god that needs man to enact revenge for him is not a god worth following.

And you have the right to believe anything you wish, but Paul was presumably quoting Deuteronomy 32:35, and that is not at all the message being put forward there.
