Reformation 500 - is it interesting the role Islam played in the reformation?

Constantinople fell to Islamic forces and later greek scholars fled to Europe and with that knowledge to translate the New Testament into greek and new insights into the scriptures paving the way for less obscured scriptures We would no longer have 'elevate thine incliner and perambulate' but 'take up thy bed and walk' - the word of God enhanced and in the hands of the people as an unexpected consequence

The pope had an enforcer in the person of the emperor of the holy Roman Empire who could keep people in line but because of military conflict of Europe and Islam, strategically would have to go easy on those german princes and if they would lend a sympathetic ear to bombastic Luther, the Germans were needed for defense of Europe and would have to be shown leniency. This paved the way for a measure of protection of Luther where many reformers such as Hus and similar had no such protection.

Sounds almost like God planned it

True?
