Just took the test. Here are my results.

I'm pretty close to the center, but slightly leaning towards right-wing libertarian. Funny, because a lot of my fellow Americans accuse me of being a lefist. I guess the center is about as far left as it gets in the US though; we have no true left wing party, and let's face it; American "socialists" are posers...

Anyway; feel free to share your results/thoughts.

It's possible to get much further to the left in the US. You just won't find a major party that you fit into really well.

Economic Left/Right: -6.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.38

There's another thread for this same test that has been running for a long time. When I first got here, I was a bit to the right of center. It's interesting to see how our ideals shift over time.

You're in the purple!?
There are very few of us there.
(We're the real libertarians.)

... although (as is probably true of many of you) some of the questions were worded in such a way that I was unhappy with any of the options.

Yeah...there are always some questions on these things that make me wince, since they could be taken in more than one manner.

Economic Left/Right: -3.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.23

My results. I do believe that placing me so far to the left is extremely bad because for some reason right-wingedness is associated with religion

I meant as far as party affiliation. Even the Green Party is more of a centrist party than a leftist one. In US politics, the center IS the left.
