Whether one subscribes to Hare-Krishna philosophy or not, BhagawadGita sure is a beautiful book even for an atheist like me. The rest is Hare-Krishna showmanship, though their translation is heavily biased. Did BhagawadGita ask people to have this kind of egos, biggest or smallest?

"Tasmād yasya, Mahā-bāho, nigṛihītāni sarvaśaḥ;
indriyāṇī indriyārthebhyah, tasya prajñā pratiṣṭhitā." BhagawadGita 2.68

Therefore, O Mighty-armed (Arjuna), one who has detached his senses from all sense objects, his/her understanding is established.
