One Best Movie

Yay, I know we all have lots of movies we love, but out of all those movies, which one do you love the most. My benchmark is how many times I've seen one particular movie over all the others I like. And, for those who read my web-page will know, it's Vanishing Point 1971, for me. At a rought estimate, I've seen it over 80 times, and now I have the directors cut, available in the States only, umm, it's going up all the time.

"A Few Good Men" and "Meet Joe Black" ARE awesome movies. I love "The Naked Gun", "American Beauty", "Big Fish", "The Ref", "Lord of the Rings", the original "Superman" series, the "Star Wars" series, "Rocky", "Indiana Jones", and my personal fav...."Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"! Woo hoo....that was fun.

Alexander directors cut. i don't know what redneck critic gave it a bad rating, but i love that movie. Then Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and then Lord of the Rings.

I loved The Outsiders growing up. I still like watching it every now and then. I also like Where the Red Fern Grows.

As for adult movies (not to be confused with adult films), my favorites are probably Zoolander and Napolean Dynamite.

I like airplane, Napolean Dynamite, Montey python, die hard, grease, indiana jones, anything with batman or zoro in it, face/off, anything with nic cage in it, boy I could go on forever! :D

ACtually, not quite everything with nic cage, but pretty close. Most of his dramas suck (though I don't particularly like dramas anyway), but the action movies are good.

I like Silence of The Lamb. Too bad Jody Foster didn't play Clarice in Hannible. Some other ones I like are Braveheart, both Patriot movies, Lord of the Rings, Dracula: The Dark Prince, Alone in the Dark, Dagon, Interview with a Vampire, Queen of The Damned (Allthough I liked the music more than the movie), and Final Fantasy: The spirits within.

Yeah, he was. I like matchstick men, too. Luke wolf reminded me of the Silence of the Lambs (I can't beleive I forgot that one!) and Jay reminded me of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Well, there's so many, I bought the Wild Bunch Dvd today, great.

The original point though, is which movie have you seen the most, and I reckon I've seen Vanishing Point well over 80 times, and that's a conservative estimate.

"The Wizard of Oz" is one of my all-time favorites. I think one of the signs of a great movie is one where you never lose your sense of wonder, no matter how many times you see it. When the shades of grey turn into a myriad of colors, I've yet to keep myself from squealing in delight.

When I was growing up, "Amadeus" was an old friend. If my little sister and I were discussing why we didn't like a particular piece of music, we'd invariably fall back upon "Too many notes." Another movie that I grew up with was "The Last Unicorn". (Though the harpy scared me.)

Despite the multitude of excellent reasons to nitpick "Lord of the Rings" listed here, including the following:
Casting: Why couldn't Frodo have been played by Christopher Walken?
Casting, II:
Why couldn't Gandalf have been played by Bruce Campbell?
Casting, III:Why couldn't Bilbo have been played by Vin Diesel?
Casting, IV: Why couldn't Strider have been played by a monkey?
The Score: The background music wasn't nearly funky enough for me.
I think it's probably the dearest film to my heart.

It's either face/off, grease, or silence of the lambs for what I've seen the most.

OOoooo... That does look excellent! *makes a note to be sure to see it*
So are you a Glenda the Good fan or Wicked Witch of the west Feathers? I think I can guess :D .

Anyway since we're only picking ONE movie

If I had to pick a modern movie it would be Fight Club. Messes with your head so much first time you see it, and you'll never guess the ending in a million years.
