Occidere, est sentire ultimum sensum

Orias

Left Hand Path
March to the beat of hearts
Desperate and searching
Darkness drooling
Spears glistening with the thick liquor of life's essence

Pouring slowly
Down the drain of being
Only one thing can be certain
We are as good as dead

But lets learn a lesson
A voice will resound
With an echo more quant than text
If you are true and not just a word

Spilling over
The bucket is getting full
The ultimate sensation
Is reaching the top, to prevail as our own

The ultimate sensation
To live to kill
And kill again
Is a test against time

Its a test against being
And morality
A pack mentality
Useful for all arts of war

Who is the alpha
Who is the wolf
Where is the boy that will cry falseness
To our coming on stage?

The village won't be scared
As they see no threat
But to face the fist of man
One will feel every emotion, anxiety to the ultimate

Even amongst the pack
There will be fear
There will be joy
And there will playfulness

Dark yes, I write stuff like this from time to time. It compliments my perception more than the LHP, but it definitely does fit in with it.

Thank you. I still struggle and there are people better at it than me that post here too. :D

You know I have tried to come up with an interpretation of what you are trying to say with this poem, but I can't quite see it. Could you help me out a little? and does the title really mean "To kill is to feel the sense of"?

Hey Orias, I've been meaning to ask, can you do black metal vocals similar to E.M. Caligula of Dark Funeral - high and low pitched screams and growls? If so I could really use a good lyricist such as yourself for my black metal project. Let's talk by pm or phone.

Xeper.
