A number does not exist unless somebody writes it down in a physical sense . I think all numbers are imaginary and finite probability maybe predictable to some degree of accuracy.

Numbers are a human representation of quantity. Quantity has always existed at least as long as this universe has existed.

I agree the universe has a quantity of field matter and atomic matter.
We can measure this in a sense of finite sets relative to an infinite whole.
Our numbers representing scale , everything relative .
However , the universe does exist without human representation in numbers and the physical logic precedes numbers . Numbers can be added anytime as history as shown us .
So I will argue that knowing physical process and understanding it is more worth than numbers .
Numbers can be reached by trial and error , do you agree ?

No, numbers are an accurate (in human terms) representation of quantity.

What you are saying is 1+1 = 3 or 5 or -9 or maybe 11 or perhaps 2.

This is a lot like an argument in another thread.
    Was mathematics discovered or invented.
I say the former regarding the structure,
    & the latter regarding notation.

Imaginary numbers are real as real numbers. The term imaginary numbers is just a case of poor wood choice.

The problem is that "real" numbers exist on a imaginary number line.

    No , 1 + 1 = 2

    As 0.5 + 0.5 = 1

It's just a language in numbers to represent things . Like two halves of an apple make one apple .

    I am 45 , before I was 44 , it was good to be 44 .

But as you said, Numbers can be reached by trial and error , therefor, i ask, did you arrive at the conclusion that you are 45 by counting 44+1 ot by trial and error?

Yes, i know, having worked in representing 3d in a 2d environment i am quite familiar with imaginary numbers. I was posing a question of word usage.

In that case, not any more than any other idea. Ideas are physical processes in brains.
