Is nudity sinful iyo? How about being nude at a beach that allows it? How about at home with children around?

I don't think there is anything wrong with nudity, after all we all have bodies.

Nudity is not taboo in our house, although we don't generally go nude all of us (3 children and 2 adults) will at some time be seen wondering around the house sans clothes.

That's the way our household has been, although not at first as my wife was quite hesitant early on. In my Scandinavian tradition, nudity is not considered intrinsically wrong nor sinful, but OTOH we are taught to respect the feelings of others.

Not sinful, no. If people want to be at a nude beach, that's fine for them. I wouldn't seek such a beach myself.

And I'm uncomfortable with the thought of nudity around children.

What @Eddi said.

I don't think nudity is morally or ethically wrong, but if it goes strongly against the grain of the local culture it could be an issue.

I don't have a problem with it. You have probably heard Kent Hovind make his claim of calling National Geographic "National Pornographic" because in many tropical countries the women go around bare chested (to make it even worse so do the men:eek::eek::eek:). When western culture comes in we are the ones that change that and now in most of those countries women, who never thought of their breasts as sexual or shameful are covering up. That tells us that the problem is not with those that are naked, they are not the immoral ones. It is those that see naked people and have those feelings themselves about those women. Kent only convicts himself with his attitude.

I don't think nudity is inherently sinful. But running around the house naked with people inside, especially little ones, is very messed up.

I feel like I have to have a warning for such...

I can handle it, but I must know its coming, and why(and approve of the reason).

If someone shouted "I forgot my pants, I'm coming in to get them!" I'd be perfectly fine. If they came in unannounced and sat to watch TV, I'd probably have a mild heart attack.

As long as you don't have a stroke!
