Makes me glad I never got that tramp stamp I so wanted back in the day.

Tattoos are not something that should be gotten on impulse, they should be personal and have meaning, and they shouldn't be the designs off the walls. It's no wonder he regretted it.

Even ones that fit your criteria can become regretted decisions over time.
Both of mine were custom tattoos I drew myself; they were exactly what I wanted and have a deep connection to things in my life.

But now, after wearing them for 20 years, I wish I had never had them inked.

Revoltingest with no shirt. Isn't that a rule 5 violation?

my tattoo is on my back,on left shoulder. a custom drawing by a talented tattooist.it was total luck i had it. its shape, its position, its beauty and details in making and its horrifying image.. it is unlikely i will get bored with something i hardly see. it is for people looking at me from back rather than coming front. i remember it only in summers when people ask 'why you didnt have something cute as yourself'. i guess it was the best thing i could have for back of me on my left.

Advantages of body painting over tatoos:
    - Less painful
    - Cheaper
    - Temporary
    - More freedom of expression

The pain really isn't that bad. Of course it does depend on where it goes, but for the most part the pain is no worse than a very mild shock. Sometimes it can hurt worse, but there is always the endorphins to look forward to. And then for some of us that pain makes us instantly super horny. The cost can get expensive, but the point of more freedom of expression is debatable. If you cover every inch of your skin with a jigsaw puzzle tattoo, it's harder to have anymore freedom of expression than that.
