My latest "Friends of AOC" E-mail, not sure where they came up with the $27 the amount seems odd.
"online radicalization" and "hate fueled agenda" are my favourite lines from this, I encourage their use in the future for the entertainment value.

Friend:
After two years of the Trump presidency, we fully understand the allure of an easy fix. The people of this country have lived through an administration that has undermined our healthcare, destroyed our image in the world, and launched an assault against immigrant communities.
We wish we could wave it all away — that we could impeach Trump or vote him out in 2020, and then embark on a collective journey where all of our problems are gone. But it’s just not that simple.
Trump is not the cause of structural racism, xenophobia, and a political party that is clearly willing to sell off the foundation of our democracy to appease wealthy corporate donors. The reality TV show presidency is merely a symptom of the problems we’ve refused to address.
All of us will play a role in confronting the bigotry, racism, and inequities that exist in our society -- and together, we can overcome them. That’s why we’re building a movement designed to make our political system work for the folks who’ve been left behind.
But we rely on small dollar donors to fund that movement, not corporate PACs or megadonors. Can you chip in $27 to help bolster our cause, and fight for diverse, working-class people across the country?
We’ll be honest with you -- this isn’t going to be easy.
In order for us to heal as a nation, we must pursue the incredibly hard work of rooting out the systemic causes of Trump’s rise. We must oppose the party infrastructure that bolstered him, the dark money that funded him, the online radicalization that fueled him, and the systemic racism that he emboldened.
Voting against that hate-fueled agenda is a critical first step. But it doesn’t end there -- we need to be willing to have the hard conversations about structural abuses of power with our friends, neighbors, and even family members.
We are all a part of this society, and thus, we all bear the burden of building a brighter future for our nation.
