It is, at least in non-human animals. Many species react with miscarriages under stress. It is better for the survival of the species to interrupt a pregnancy when there is strong risk that the offspring will not survive. No need to put resources into an unlikely outcome. Better try to survive and try later.Could a miscarriage be seen as a type of birth control?
i've read of numerous cases where mother's couldn't conceive. then they adopted children and strangely enough found themselves pregnant. It is, at least in non-human animals. there are documented cases of psychological circumstances overriding autonomic nervous system functions.No. How stupid.
For non-human animals it is almost always physical, hunger, high predator pressure, etc.i've read of numerous cases where mother's couldn't conceive. then they adopted children and strangely enough found themselves pregnant.
so is the stress psychological and/or physical?
infertility couldn't be a form of birth control? For non-human animals it is almost always physical, hunger, high predator pressure, etc.
I'm not aware of studies about humans and stress induced miscarriages.
There are however, as you said, studies of stress induced infertility in humans.
Could a miscarriage be seen as a type of birth control?
It's God performing an abortion.Could a miscarriage be seen as a type of birth control?
Well, infertility is a natural form of birth control on species level. Overpopulation often raises infertility significantly.infertility couldn't be a form of birth control?
I'll tell ya what a miscarriage might become...Could a miscarriage be seen as a type of birth control?
reminds me of the catholic inquisitionsI'll tell ya what a miscarriage might become...
If the law treats a fetus as a person, then a
miscarriage might be treated as a suspicious
death, requiring police investigation.
Was there negligence by a parent?
Was it induced, ie, murder?
Full autopsies would be standard.

Hmmm....early pregnancies might requireMost happen early on in the pregnancy, so no one might know. It may cause women to wait until they are showing to even mention it, in case they do miscarry. So much to think about.
No. Not yet.Dang...are those things back?
