Looking for a book the title of which I have forgotten.

I was seeking inspiration for a letter I was writing to a man who knows that he is dying and I came across a piece in one of my books commenting on the need to keep in contact with god. The writer referred to the days when people rose from their bed they were expected to pray and then read a chapter of the bible each morning. At the end of that chapter the writer suggested two books that were built round daily readings. I would dearly like to remember what that book was.

Sorry that does not activate any memories.

do you remember anything about the author, their qualifications, etc? Even where they were from?

The books that I have recently been reading are:

“Life after death.” Dick Perfect

“ John for Everyone Part 1” Tom Wright

“ John for Everyone Part 2” Tom Wright

“Hereafter” David Winter

“At the end of the day.” David Winter

“Your Bereavement.” Cannon Talbot Mohan
