Every human being is worthy of dignity and rights regardless of who they love, or how they identify. I am wondering what progressives and other people can do to help these asylum seekers.

And one should also notice that attacks on various groups by right-wing extremists have significantly ramped-up since Trump ran for and won the presidency, and I would suggest that this is not likely just coincidence.
