Many ISIS are Baathist Sunni from Saddam Hussein's army. It seems they made their plans at Camp Bucca Military prison circa 2003.

The quasi civil war didn't help. The corrupt government does not help. The only thing keeping Iraq going is the US.

That's not fair. Bush installed Maliki who is not only Shia but an Iranian stooge. He lived in Iran for years.

That is part of the corrupt government I was talking about. It still has done little to improve since then. The Kurds voted for independence yet the fed government denied it claiming it was illegal. Iraq survives because of the US. Without the US another civil war would start.
