Kansas votes to allow abortion access

In addition Kansas is still a conservative state and the Legislature there can still restrict abortion there in many ways, and they probably will. In the end this is likely to prove to be a pyrrhic victim for the pro-abortion side.
With a 60% popularity of this issue if the Kansas Republicans decide to eliminate abortion access on their own, they will be signing their own death sentence in politics. Do you think it is proper for representatives in government to force ideas onto the public and impose policies that go against the public will and their vote? This is a long term right and a healthcare necessity for many women, so not some flimsy issue like a speed limit.

Not to mention the Kansas State Constitution's Bill of Rights. If they keep trying this, they will demonstrate in no uncertain terms that they do not believe in fundamental human rights.
