You do realize, don't you, that it's Michael Brown's own interpretation that the "wicked" Gill mentions are Christian conservatives---"Christian" isn't mentioned once in the linked article. Which he then purposely misquotes Gill as "So, when Tim Gill says he wants to “punish” Christian conservatives."

At best this is dishonest journalism, and at worse, a deliberate smear. But coming from Stream it's not surprising. My suggestion: don't read such biased trash anymore. Oh yes, in answer to your question: Of course Gill isn't a fascist. He doesn't begin to fit the definition, which you might want to look up.

Fascism /ˈfæʃɪzəm/ is a form of radical authoritarian nationalism,[1][2] characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce,[3] which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

Liberalism is a political philosophy or worldview founded on ideas of liberty and equality.[1][2][3] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but generally they support ideas and programmes such as freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, free markets, civil rights, democratic societies, secular governments, gender equality and international cooperation.

Quoting the dictionary does not a reply make. Also, the definitions you have given are not mutually exclusive

Liberalism is the younger sister of Communism.

The Lord will punish the hypocrites.

James 2:12-13 Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Communists literally consider liberalism the ideology of capitalism.

See: "Combat Liberalism" by Chairman Mao

Learn what the words you use mean instead of capitulating to sensationalist garbage.

Also, Traditional liberalism=/= Progressive liberalism or Liberal party politics

Nah, @Epic Beard Man's definition was dead on. Communist regimes aren't known for free speech, human rights, LGBT equality, etc. which are cornerstones of liberalism. Don't just blindly believe what Uncle Cletus told you. Pick up a book.

Then why is liberalism considered a leftist policy?

What Tim Gill is doing is perfectly legal. His political organization is basically in the business of supporting political candidates who share Gill's views, and opposing those who oppose his views. Micheal Brown has no reason to vilify the man.

If Tim Gill is a "liberal fascist", then so are the National Rifle Association, the Koch brothers, and virtually all large corporations -- just to name some of the people and groups that do the same thing he's doing.

The definitions expose the claims made by the OP to be nothing more than goofy garbage.

It's cute how conservative christians get 'butthurt' and play the victim whenever they're prevented from persecuting others.

Wait. So this whole time that you've been debating politics you've had no idea how the political spectrum actually works?
