I've been watching the prices of foldable bikes on Amazon for a while. Work doesn't have a bike lock but I'm tired of carrying the bike up and down the stairs. Having it fit into the car would be a better solution, improved a lot by having a carrying bag for it.

Unless you're handy wrenching on bikes, I'd be wary of buying on Amazon.
It's quite common for bikes to arrive needing assembly or re-assembly,
& even repairs of damage caused during shipping. Best mail order
results are found when sticking with name brands. That's what I do.
And since you're quite wealthy, paying more gets you better quality.
I can recommend reputable mail order dealers, & sources of useful info.

I'm pretty handy. Do my own servicing, have my own backup supplies and do my purchase by brand but not by seller. I don't like the markups that specialty bike shops give, and I can put the cost of shipping, which is free for me, towards repairs if I absolutely need to. But I've never had any problems. Ditto with DSLR camera supplies and computer components I also buy through Amazon.
Not sure why you think I'm quite wealthy though.
