People would look at a mountain, and see a mountain and take it as a mountain; see a symbol of strength, femininity, and majesty and take it as a symbol of strength, femininity, and majesty; see a god and take it as a god.

Well, some issues could be resolved. There would be no more religious schisms, no more arguments about Creationism vs. Evolution. People would be inclined to accept medical science more readily, too. There would be no more religious "nationalists," which would also be a huge plus. National governments might be able relate to each other on a more rational basis.
Yeah, but, on the down side, without religion we wouldn't have religious lore that is the basis of a lot of very cool movies.

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure I want the theists to give up just yet.
