I read his wiki page. Sounds like a half-decent guy (and this coming from a 'conservative' )

Perhaps you will take a step further some day and volunteer to do some political work some day.

I worked for over 40 years for the British Liberals, from the tine we were down to only 7 members of parliament. It's tough fighting for a minority party.

These days we have many seats in parliament and hundreds of local councillors.
and either control or share many local councils.

Sounds like an interesting guy...even if a bit old at nearly 80.

I can't say much of what believes lines up with my views, but if he favors abolition of the IRS and supports a national sales tax, I'll have to keep him in mind.

I saw an interview he did with Stephen Colbert. Gravel was quite funny and engaging I thought.
