The X took the tools. I might collect some that I might/will need. I have screwdrivers and hammers. I bought a beautiful tool storage case on sale at HD for opening a charge account. Just call me "lucky!"

That is sad and a loss of life. I hear of the deaths and I can sympathize with some people who still believe it is all a hoax for some assumed right end.

I wonder if your friend's mother was already some sort of dying? When my mother died some years ago, I was actually happy for her. Right before she died I told her, "there is no more trouble ahead!". She was sick, in pain, and her quality of life was nill. She died and I was happy about that because she shall suffer no more.

She had Alzheimer's and was in a nursing home although she still had 4 or 5 years of life left in her.

My friend blamed herself, visiting her several times per week she believed (and still does to a degree) that she carried the virus in to her mother.

Tests show my friend has not had the virus but she still thinks she could have taken it in on clothing.

What is more likely is that any staff with any symptoms were immediately asked to leave the premises for 2 weeks. During that time relief staff were brought in. It is most likely that one of these brought the virus with them.

Still it does not help my friends feeling of guilt

I am an alcoholic. How so? If I knew that the end of me was near would I choose to eat more or drink? I would drink. Not more...instead of.

Eating is a nuisance but drinking brings a person to the fore.

Where ARE we? I have stocked up for NEAR but being liking wine...I might just run out.

But, if I might meet a @Sunstone at AA, I'd give it up!
