Or more? Either way a monkey at a Hindu temple decided it was time to join in.

According to reports he assumed the proper prayer postion for an hour, then marked himself in the right place with vermillion and took the prasad offerings from other worshipers. The monkey then let himself be givin a garland before returning to the woods. According to villagers there had not been a monkey in the area for two years.

Awesome. As your title states, to me its simply monkey see monkey do.
Monkeys don't often do that, especially if they haven't seen it more than once (remember monkeys are not in that area). I'd say it's an amazing thing to happen. However it happened.

Probably seen other temples, and that's where it learned it, though.

awesome!

while this might have been a case of imitation, the facty that the monkey took the correct worship posture along with everything else is just too weird. the worshippers in the temple taht day must have been blown away.
