Hello all.

I'm a Muslim (Sunni, traditional/conservative in my views) from the UK and enjoy discussing religion.

I'm in my mid-twenties, was always raised a Muslim but only really started practising and learning about my religion when I was 18.

I thought I'd join this forum because I do not know any non-Muslims who have an interest in discussing religion. In our society its always considered one of those topics you should never talk about. Which is unfortunate really as I think all the materialism we see is distracting people from thinking about the big questions.

I look forward to participating in discussions here.

Welcome aboard :D

"Abu" actually means father of. It is considered an honorific to address people in Arabic countries.

Non Arabic also misuse "Abdul" which does not make sense alone.

Anyways, enjoy your stay :)
