Before there were dinosaurs, planets, or stars, what did God do? If he always existed, did he spend trillions of years playing with himself before learning how to create material creatures or Angels? He just must have sat in the darkness with himself for a long while before saying, "let there be light"!
I think God evolves and is constantly learning new things from his creatures, like in the Bible when Moses got God to repent. Im guessing his desire to have friendships created heavenly beings for a long while before learning how to make a material world.
I don't see why so many harmless and small prehistoric animals survived, yet the big scary dangerous ones died off with the exception of the crocodile/alligator, but that is nothing compared to the T-Rex.
It seems God or mother nature was doing us a favor by making such creatures go extinct.
