Does God play with himself?

Before there were dinosaurs, planets, or stars, what did God do? If he always existed, did he spend trillions of years playing with himself before learning how to create material creatures or Angels? He just must have sat in the darkness with himself for a long while before saying, "let there be light"!

I think God evolves and is constantly learning new things from his creatures, like in the Bible when Moses got God to repent. Im guessing his desire to have friendships created heavenly beings for a long while before learning how to make a material world.

I don't see why so many harmless and small prehistoric animals survived, yet the big scary dangerous ones died off with the exception of the crocodile/alligator, but that is nothing compared to the T-Rex.

It seems God or mother nature was doing us a favor by making such creatures go extinct.

Why do you think that?

I find a perfect, eternal, unchanging God more plausible.
But that's just me. You believe something different.
Why?
Tom
The God of Jacob, Yahweh, feels sorry, changes his mind, and even repents if one of his creatures opposes his plans with a rational argument. The God of the new testament is way different than the wrathful warmonger and tyrant in the OT.

Those are examples that he does change with time and the right influences.

I agree.
The God of the Bible is rather changeable and limited.

It says so, right there in Scripture.

Can we agree on that much, at least?

I believe you are seeing illusions of change but that doesn't make them real.

I'm finding this sort of post rather typical of your style.
Pardon me if I don't find your views and morals particularly appealing.
Tom
why doesnt someone make fun of muslims or atheists or buddhists?
probably because they are too boring

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

You ought to see what he made on that other planet.

ok i will pardon you then. a temporary or permanent pardon?
What's the difference between a temporary and a permanent pardon?

If by temporary, you mean "until you point out some more nonsense", then my response is "whatever".
You won't be the first Christian to leave RF because you're accustomed to religious echo chambers. And you won't be the last.

Pray on it. See what God says.

Hey @sciatica !

Is this yet another of the nasty interrogative scenarios you like to create, while also complaining about them?

If you don't like that kind of Internet interaction, then why do you prioritize them so highly? Did your church teach you this behavior?

Personally, I think it did. Feel free to show me that I'm wrong.
