You may call me "sage."
I am an American teenager. A teenage male, to be slightly more precise.
I write poetry, paint (though not very well), daydream, play guitar, attempt to write my own songs, think, read, exist, and question. I also enjoy athletics and summertime - especially days spent lying on the grass with friends wearing jeans in sandles.
My interest in eastern religion began maybe five years ago when I read about Buddhism in school. I also discovered Taoism. Both religions interested me very much. My mother is Jewish and my father is Christian, and we did not "actively" practice any single religion. I was agnostic. I always believed there was a greater (divine?) binding force or energy that unified everyone, though I had no idea what exactly this was. Two years ago, my interest grew in Taoism and dropped in Buddhism, though I still find the latter interesting. I read "The Tao Of Pooh" and enjoyed it very much.
I am fascinated by other cultures and religions, and hope to learn much more while I am here.
Thanks for reading about me, and positive energy to everyone,
-Sage
