My intention is to unite the people. Truth unites the world. Right? PleaseDepends on the Dravidian. Just as the wise will say Sanskrit and Tamil are brothers, so too are Vedas and Agamas.
But yes, some will put more stock in certain scriptures.
I have no idea why it would matter one iota to a non-Hindu other than as entertainment value ... to pose a divisive question, and then observe its divisiveness.
Truth does, but your opinion of truth doesn't.My intention is to unite the people. Truth unites the world. Right? Please

Firstly Aryans and Dravidians are racist terms unless they are used in the context of ancient history. Far far back there may have been two civilizations but they have merged and intermingled to create a joint civilization long time back. The current South Indian civilization has been a great center of Hindu (including Vedic, Agamic and Bhakti) and Jain religion and culture for more than two millenia. Given the destruction caused by the long Islamic dominance of the north, much of classical Hinduism and Jainism would have been lost without the immense contributions made by the people of South India.Do Dravidians own Veda as their religious scripture?

Video evidence:-
The same can be said of most wars, the British invasion of India, the Muslim conquests, etc. Often it is not well thought out. There may be good intentions, but without wisdom attached, it can fail miserably. My intention is to unite the people. Truth unites the world. Right? Please

It's your baseless presumption that South Indian civilization has been somehow deprived of their identity."Firstly Aryans and Dravidians are racist terms unless they are used in the context of ancient history. Among other things history gives us a chance to correct our wrongdoings, if knowingly or knowingly our ancestors have committed them. Maybe the water that have flown in the river Ganges have witnessed that an entire civilization had been deprived of their identity .

For centuries they have, may be under the secular India, where one man one vote rules, the Dravidians are reviving. It's your baseless presumption that South Indian civilization has been somehow deprived of their identity.
False. Regards. For centuries they have, may be under the secular India, where one man one vote rules, the Dravidians are reviving.

False. Regards.
The entire South Indian civilization is Dravidian civilization. The Dalits are the lowest caste of both North Indian and South Indian Dravidian culture. There is clear distinction between "Dravidian" and "Dalit". Low caste oppression and untouchability are clearly reprehensible but that has very little to do with North Indian/ Dravidian question. The ancient kingdoms and civilizations of South India had Dravidian Brahmins and Dravidian Kshatriyas as well as Dravidian lower caste etc.paarsurrey said: ↑

"Dalit, meaning "oppressed" in Sanskrit is the self-chosen political name of castes in India which are "untouchable".[1][2] Though the name Dalit has been in existence since the nineteenth century, the economist and reformer B. R. Ambedkar (1891–1956) popularised the term.[3] Dalits were excluded from the four-fold Varna system and formed the unmentioned fifth varna; they were also called Panchama.[4]"

After thousands of years of mixing, there is no division between Aryans and Dravidians. All Hindus consider Vedas as their scripture.Do Dravidians own Veda as their religious scripture?
Do you realize what all atrocities your religious compatriots have committed in history and are still committing them?Among other things history gives us a chance to correct our wrongdoings, if knowingly or knowingly our ancestors have committed them.

Yeah, it is a political term. People use it now for personal benefits. Missionaries and Muslims use it in their attempt to fracture Hindu society. Dalits are not 'Panchamas' (fifth). They are the fourth (Shudras - meaning manual workers in employ of other people). So, really all service class people are Shudras if they work for others. 'Panchama' is equivalent of 'Chandala' - people who have been ostracized from the society because of any serious crime they may have committed.[/URL] You are welcome. Any more questions?which are "untouchable". Though the name Dalit has been in existence since the nineteenth century, the economist and reformer B. R. Ambedkar (1891–1956) popularised the term. Who is the author? What is his credentials? Anybody can say anything in a website. Why do you believe him and quote him?The Dravidian say that their religion is different from that of the Aryan race:
"In Europe, the Germanic race practiced its Germanic religion, the Greeks had the Greek or Hellenic religion, and the Slavs followed the Slavic religion. It thus follows, that since there is no one Hindu race, there is also no one Hindu religion. Hence the Sudroid races of Dravidians, Dalits, Adivasis and Kols all follow Shaivism or Sudric Religion. The Aryans follow Vedism and Vaishnavism, collectively referred to as the 6 orthodox (`astika') schools of Brahmanism. The Mongoloids generally follow Shaktism, while the Sino-Tibetan peoples follow Tantrism."

The Dravidians, Dalits and Untouchables have suffered grossly most in the Post-Vedic times. Their viewpoint needs to be appreciated. PleaseWhat is his credentials? Anybody can say anything in a website. Why do you believe him and quote him?
