Who wouldn't want to profit from the zombie apocalypse? That's the ultimate expression of capitalism. I say that in a good way.

    An ode to comrade walker

    Those hungry & shuffling zombies
    desire gray matter salamis.
    But watch as they feed
    & share based on need.
I tell you that they are all commies!

I suppose the business plan would have to ensure the safety of the people running in and about abandoned buildings.

In all honesty, I foresee a future not so different from a zombie apocalypse. Complete collapse of the industrial food chain. Starving people animalized by the imperative of their now raw-extincts, the veneer of civilization stripped away, forming into what are essentially roving bands of maniacs looking for food, and trying to secure/stockpile/own the last remaining means of food & other essential production. Fighting eachother for these stockpiles and means. Eventually it'll get to the point where the loser is on the menu when someone gets the bright idea of "hey you know, there's less food here than we thought, but there's a helluva lot of fresh meat if we look at it one way... i mean what's the difference?'

This is going to be a like a shot of adrenaline in the arm for that particular clan of maniacs. Yes, there are longterm health problems but short term, this clan just greatly increased the quantity and quality of its food supply. And in war, food is god. They can now support a much larger warband and have much more incentive for combat and expansion.

They also now have a terrifying enhancement to their reputation. I mean it's one thing to know you're going to die, another that you're going to die and be eaten by your ferocious opponents.

Other clans will have to implement this practice to compete, and so it will become widespread one way or another.

The women, of course, will be raped and impressed into the clan. The children will be brought up in the clan's maniacal agenda. The women themselves will probably come to develop a form of Stockholm syndrome after a time if nothing else than out of shear self-preservation.

Sounds like zombification to me. Sign me for a kit.

Thanks in part to The Walking Dead (filmed in and around Atlanta, GA thank you.:D ), zombies are quite popular these days. It's not my cup of tea, but if people are willing to go to Detroit and willing to pay for the experience, I say God Bless America and Free Enterprise!:clap Detroit sure could use an influx of any kind of commerce.
