Dalai Lama's Little Book of Wisdom

Geoff-Allen

Resident megalomaniac
I enjoyed reading this book.

He advises us to perform experiments on our own minds. This means observing your thoughts as they come & go and discovering which thoughts lead to peace of mind and which thoughts disturb your peace of mind. From my own personal experience, I have found that peace of mind comes from thoughts of compassion, forgiveness, kindness & gratitude.

Have a good one!

Delightful book throughly uplifted by it. If you want another try Open Heart by the Dalai Lama it teaches about compassion, the sister of wisdom.

The Dalai Lama is a bleeding heart in a war torn world that needs proactive offense and
campaign to eliminate radical parties under international agreement and standard.

Give him a rifle and send him to the front.

All the rebukes and poetic philosophy of kindness isn't even going to humor the enemy,
humoring these pacifists is pointless unless you're reading it for the shear amusement.

If someone is trying to kill you it is reasonable to kill them back. - Dat Lama

He's progressive at least.

It's a vicious cycle, no matter what your belief is, savvy?

I don't think pacifism is the problem here.

He has the intelligence to be practical. Do you think it would be practical to take on China militarily. In the case in hand his best option is to win popular opinion around the world to pressure China to back off.

Nuking Mecca won't stop radical Islam either or people from gathering there, I'm such a fool...

I'm not worried about China, they just wanted their triple billions in trade
labors from Ameerika. People from other countries get excited when another
country orchestrates a military demonstration, China did so eloquently, even
announcing their nuclear arsenal prepared to go to war.

I'm assuming America paid off their debt to them. Russia on the other hand
is just fed up with America's bull doggish political standing, while Russia is
typically Russia, I'm not worried about them beginning a war, entirely,
Putin is one of the most cynical/sarcastic leaders I've seen, ever. He's
not a total communist though, he wants to do what Russia wants, not what
he wants, entirely.

Putin does consider Russia's image and the international consensus on what
people and Russia wants in particular.

I just get hysteric when these spiritual leaders and guru's turn up in the
media. I just want to see more assertive leadership more than anything,
the US does engage in situations almost immediately.

I don't believe in the world police unless it's under the coalition and UN,
backed by the acceptance of the people. Which will hardly ever happen
as fluidly as I would like, eradicating radical Islam is not a tangible goal
at the moment. We need Islamist powers that are backed by the
people to take control of Islam, or eradicate Islam all together. These
radical Islamist parties just come in and overthrow the people and local
governments.

Really, I just want to go back to the middle east and saturate myself in my
own rage by the diligent pacification of these ******* animals.

Cheers.

The Dalai Lama is a positive force in the world.

A Shaolin Monk is an obvious choice for a successor.
