Chicago Continues To Be Hotbed Of Cop Corruption

Car belonging to Chief of Internal Affairs, Yolanda Talley, is pulled
over for drug bust (based upon earlier observation a man with drugs).
Talley's niece, the driver, had no drugs. Her passenger did, & was
arrested. The vehicle was never impounded, which is inconsistent
with typical civil forfeiture policy in drug busts. Talley's niece wasn't
charged. The arresting cops were then placed on desk duty.
How can they investigate & manage themselves when even the
top cops are involved in the crimes, eh.
Chicago’s top cop says he made decision to pull officers from street after heroin bust involving internal affairs chief’s car
It gets more interesting.....
The man arrested was the guy who gave cops a bad tip in 2019.
He claimed a felon with a gun was in the home of Anjanette
Young....who is now famous for that botched raid.
Lightfoot admits she knew about botched CPD raid, orders changes after bodycam video released
Authorities knew where the felon was...in his own
home, & not in hers. Cops didn't bother to check that.
So they raided her place in a brutal manner.
Taxpayers paid her $2,900,000 in damages.

I wonder if there's a connection between cop corruption at the highest levels and the amount of crime and shootings taking place in Chicago.
